MiKamachi Inc. was established in June 1994 by Priyadarshan
Bhide and Nishikant Thakur.
MiKamachi Inc. has
manufactured Electromagnetic, Ultrasonic flow meters and other products
in the field of flow measurement for over fifteen years. All products are
designed and developed indigenously and are available in ¼"NB- 240"
NB (5mm-6000mm) size range with a variety of combination options to meet
specific needs. MiKamachi
Inc.
has supplied these throughout India. They are also exported worldwide,
including United States.
Flow
meters are tested and certified by India's premiere fluid flow testing
laboratories:
- Fluid Control Research
Institute (FCRI), Palakkad,
Kerala.
- Central Water and Power
Research Station (CWPRS), Khadakwasala, Pune.

for Design of Electrical Measuring Instruments
(IDEMI), Mumbai, Maharashtra.
The in-house testing facility up to size 24"NB (600mm) uses ‘Dynamic
Volume Comparison method in accordance with ISO 17025 and also has a
master meter traceable to national standards. It has flow capacity of
600m3/h.
MiKamachi Inc. has the distinction of making one of the world's largest flow meters, with
a size of 120"NB (3048mm), which
has provided consistent service to the Municipal
Corporation of Pune City, in the state of Maharshtra,
since its installation on the pipeline in June 2000. The pipeline carries
the raw water supply for purification and consumption to the city at a
nominal flow rate of 35000m3/h / 840MLD / 221 US MGD.
MiKamachi Inc. has also supplied
more than 100 flow meters of size 12" -
88"NB (300 - 2200mm) for India's prestigious Sardar Sarovar and Narmada Canal
Project in Gujarat state.
The
company has a management system conforming to the ISO 9001:2000,
in the field of "Design,
Manufacture, Testing, Supply, Erection and Commissioning and after sales
service in the field of Electromagnetic and Ultrasonic Flow meters."
Mikamachi
magnetic flow meters have been tested and approved by various Inspection
agencies like SGS, RITES, MECON, CEIL, ABS, QSS etc. The process flow
meters have been used on various applications such as Caustic (pH13.5),
Hardwood pulp, Molasses, Spent Wash, White liquor, Black liquor, Hydrogen
peroxide, Sulphuric acid, Nitric Acid,
Hydrochloric Acid and many more.
